About XValve

XValve grew from Graeme Crichton's work on a familiar plumbing problem: taps that become hard to turn or start to drip as their traditional tap-seat washers wear. Graeme founded the Flexispray shower and tapware brand and went on to develop the XValve spindle design.

A different approach to the tap spindle

Graeme's aim was to make a seal without the traditional tap-seat washer. XValve's spindle uses a different valve action and offers an easy half-turn movement to control the water. The design is used across XValve's garden taps, replacement spindles and tapware.
